Wisely by ADP

Project:
Fintech Product Launch
Role:
UX / Interaction Design Specialist

Context

WISELy by ADP was a new financial product launch aimed at providing debit and credit card solutions through a clear, user-centered digital experience. The primary business goal was to support adoption by simplifying complex financial information and minimizing customer support inquiries.

The product required careful alignment between business objectives, legal constraints, and financial regulations.

To accelerate decision-making and reduce friction, part of the team worked directly with stakeholders in Los Angeles, strengthening collaboration across offices.

The Strategic Challenge

Build the experience from scratch.

  • Translate financial and regulatory complexity into clarity.

  • Design progressive information structures that reduced cognitive load.

  • Create interactive components that guided users step by step.

  • Balance compliance with emotional trust and engagement.

The complexity was not just structural — it was narrative.

Users needed to understand the product while discovering it.

My Contribution

As UX / Interaction Design Specialist, I led:

  • Information architecture and sitemap definition.

  • End-to-end user flows.

  • Low- and high-fidelity wireframes.

  • Design of interactive components (carousels, accordions, progressive disclosure patterns).

  • Interaction logic that revealed information progressively.

  • Close collaboration with Visual / Motion Design to integrate animations meaningfully.

A key focus was structuring the product story: positioning the user as the protagonist and the financial tool as an enabler, not a barrier.

We designed interactive storytelling patterns that allowed users to explore features at their own pace while maintaining clarity and trust.

Strategic Decisions

  • Implemented progressive disclosure to prevent information overload.

  • Structured interactive components that organized dense financial content.

  • Integrated motion intentionally to reinforce comprehension.

  • Simplified regulatory language through structural clarity rather than visual reduction.

Outcome

  • Successful launch of a new financial product.

  • Positive client feedback and strengthened trust with Fjord Los Angeles.

  • Increased collaboration continuity between CR and LA offices.

  • Reinforced Fjord Costa Rica’s reputation for delivering high-quality, structured interaction work.
